Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reprogram the inverter(s).

If this happens, it could cause the vehicle to enter a fail-safe mode and cause a loss of power to the wheels. Safety Risk: A sudden loss of power to the wheels could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front motor assembly.

Issue: On certain vehicles, the bolt that attaches the steering wheel may not have been properly tightened or may not have been installed. As a result, the steering wheel could loosen or detach and cause a loss of steering control. Safety Risk: A loss of steering could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Nissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the steering wheel bolt. Nissan also advises to inspect the steering wheel by gently moving it forward and back. If the steering wheel feels loose, you should stop using the vehicle immediately and contact a Nissan dealership to arrange towing.
