Ram Puts Real Prices on the Rumble Bee Ladder

Base Rumble Bee lands at $59,995 before destination ($62,790 out the gate); the 777-hp SRT starts under $95,000 before fees — a street-truck ladder with late-2026 arrival for the entry bee.

AUBURN HILLSRam finally put stickers on the burnout.

The company posted U.S. pricing for the 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee muscle-truck lineup: the entry 5.7-liter HEMI starts at $59,995 before a $2,795 destination charge, or $62,790 as the all-in launch figure trade desks are using. Tim Kuniskis, who runs American brands and SRT performance for Stellantis, framed the sub-$60,000 MSRP as a hit at the heart of the truck market — and admitted most buyers will not leave it stock.

The ladder is the story. Independent pricing tables matching Ram’s destination math put the Rumble Bee 392 at $72,790, the 392 Track Pack at $82,790, and the Hellcat-powered Rumble Bee SRT at $97,790. Ram’s own release says the SRT starts under $95,000 before destination. Same truck family, about $35,000 from entry bee to street-missile SRT.

Power tracks the money. The base bee makes 395 horsepower from a 5.7-liter V8. The 392 steps to a 6.4-liter HEMI with 470 horsepower. The SRT uses the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 at 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft, with claimed 3.4 seconds to 60 mph, an 11.6-second quarter mile, and a 170 mph top-speed target. Ram calls it the most powerful, quickest, and fastest V8-powered production pickup ever. Compare that to the off-road TRX SRT at about $102,790 — five grand more for the go-anywhere twin of the same Hellcat recipe.

Hardware details matter if you are not only buying Instagram. Every Rumble Bee uses a unique shortened frame (13 inches less wheelbase, 10% less flex, per Ram), an exclusive Quad Cab short-bed widebody body, and real truck numbers Ram still wants on the sheet: up to 8,890 pounds of towing and 1,160 pounds of payload. The 5.7-liter bee arrives late 2026. The 392, Track Pack, and SRT follow in the first half of 2027. All four build in Saltillo, Mexico.

For Asian North American car culture, this is the cousin-argument truck. Someone will want the yellow SRT. Someone will ask about insurance, fuel, and whether a Maverick Hybrid or F-150 PowerBoost is the smarter household tool. Both questions can be true in the same driveway. Run insurance on the exact VIN and package before the paddle shifters feel free, and put the payment next to a boring truck on the same spreadsheet.

Start with the car affordability calculator, lease versus finance, and shop auto insurance before you buy. If the household debate is really about trucks versus three-rows, keep best cars for multigenerational households open. Pair today’s Ford guidance note with this one if you are watching Detroit lean into profitable personality metal.

A muscle truck with a published ladder is easier to argue about honestly. Pick the rung you can still like after the smoke clears.
