Dodge Brings Back Power Dollars: $10 per Horsepower on Charger SIXPACK
Retail buyers of 2026 gasoline Charger R/T and Scat Pack models get $4,200 or $5,500 off through August 3, a horsepower-tied cash allowance that leases and Daytona EVs do not share.

Dodge is paying for horsepower again, which is either the most Dodge incentive of the decade or a very loud clearance sign. From July 9 through August 3, 2026, retail buyers of eligible 2026 gasoline SIXPACK Chargers get $10 for every horsepower under the hood.
That math is simple on purpose. The 420-horsepower Charger R/T and R/T Plus qualify for $4,200. The 550-horsepower Charger Scat Pack and Scat Pack Plus qualify for $5,500. Dodge says the Scat Pack remains the most powerful car available under $55,000, and that Power Dollars can bring it under $49,500 before destination, tax, title, and fees.
Leases are out. The cash allowance is purchase-only. So are the electric Daytona variants, even though they sit in the same Charger multi-energy family and the Daytona Scat Pack claims 670 horsepower. If you want the promotion, you are shopping gas SIXPACK inventory from the 2026 model year, not a 2027 order bank and not a lease worksheet.
The cars themselves are the modern Charger argument in metal: standard all-wheel drive with a mode that can send torque rearward when you ask, two-door coupe or four-door sedan bodies, and a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six wearing the SIXPACK name. Scat Pack models use the high-output Hurricane tune. Windsor Assembly in Ontario is building that lineup for North America, which matters if you care where your muscle car was screwed together.
Incentive timing usually tells on itself. Power Dollars landed as SIXPACK deliveries are ramping and as Stellantis is shipping more North American product into dealers ahead of summer shutdown math. A $5,500 allowance on a 550-horsepower car is real money. It is also a reminder that Dodge would rather move 2026 gas Chargers now than wait for every enthusiast to fall in love at full sticker.
I like the honesty of pricing power by the pony count. I also want shoppers to keep their calculator open. Destination on these cars is not a rounding error, insurance on a Scat Pack will not look like a Civic quote, and fuel economy will not save a summer of $4 gas if you treat every on-ramp like a drag strip. Run payment scenarios in our car affordability calculator and lease versus finance calculator before a dealer whiteboard turns $5,500 into three unrelated add-ons.
Culture buyers who grew up on Challengers and older Chargers will recognize the pitch immediately: more power, less apology. Younger Asian American and Asian Canadian enthusiasts cross-shopping a used German coupe against a new American sedan should notice the practical pieces too. Four doors, AWD for wet commute months, and a factory warranty beat a mystery-modded marketplace special if this is also your daily.
If you are shopping before August 3, verify the VIN is a 2026 SIXPACK R/T or Scat Pack, confirm the cash allowance prints on the purchase agreement, and do not assume a Daytona or a lease special quietly inherits the same deal. After August 3, the horsepower still exists. The $10-per-pony coupon may not.
